Also this year the Prettl group supports the Pramac Racing Team in the all-electric racing series MotoE.

Like last season, Pramac Racing riders Alex de Angelis and Josh Hook will be riding the Energica standard bikes.

The first test since the end of the season took place in Jerez in mid March. The teams tested new Michelin tyres and new Ohlins forks, as well as a new airflow cooling system for the batteries, which also allows the Energica Ego Corsas to recharge more quickly.

The test went promisingly for the Pramac team: Alex de Angelis finished 5th after 3 days of testing, Josh Hook 9th.

The MotoE season is scheduled to start at the Grand Prix in Jerez at the beginning of May. Whether this will take place though is questionable at the moment.
