- Endress as the only manufacturer of generators with the new DIN-norm ready for series production on the RETTmobil fair in Fulda
Bempflingen - From May 10th until May 12th, Endress exhibited at the RETTmobil 2017, the European Leading Exhibition for Rescue and Mobility, in Fulda.
Only one week earlier, the DIN 14658-3 „Generatorsatz mit Inverter ≤ 2 kVA“ (Generating set with inverter ≤ 2 kVA) was released, a new norm for portable generators in the field of Fire Fighting Services, that demands, inter alia, a high sound insulation and a power socket with the protecion class of IP67.
Out of 525 exhibitors from 20 different nations, the Swabian generator developer and manufacturer was the only one to already offer a portable generator with these requirements ready for series production, the ESE 2000i, also usable for parallel operating use, with a fuel level indicator and a lockable tank ventilation. Due to innovative technologies and the constant adjustment to the market, Endress has established itself as market leader since 1914.
