Just as the Prettl family has significantly shaped the company over time, the culture of our company is also always changing. The motto lived by Franz W. Prettl, "the entrepreneur in the company", which sees the employees as part of the success of the company, is still in focus today - always on the pulse of time.
In the second generation, the motto was "the employee as entrepreneur". And to meet the current times and to firmly anchor the topics of environment and sustainability in the company in the long term, the current credo is "we are Eco-Preneurs" - a combination of the successful past combined with the current times.
Corporate Governance
Family business in 3rd generation:
PRETTL was founded in 1953 by Franz W. Prettl - exactly 70 years ago. Due to the constant growth, the two sons Erhardt and Rolf Prettl also took over management tasks in the company at a very early stage. After about 50 years in the second generation, the handover to the sons Willi and Johannes Prettl, i.e. to the 3rd generation, has taken place in the meantime. Thus, the management of the company is still secure and in good hands.
